Recognized for its high-altitude microclimate, Napa Valley's first sub-AVA produces distinctively structured Cabernet Sauvignon, and is home to some of the best red wine vineyards in the world. It's also loaded with hidden gems as Howell Mountain has never been a popular tourist destination, especially in relation to other districts like Oakville, Rutherford and Yountville. In fact, many people drive right through Howell Mountain without noticing, and most tours don't venture that far up the Silverado trail. It's a shame because Howell Mountain is known for some of the biggest, boldest, and most expensive wines in Napa.

The Wine Buyer: 94 Points

"Juicy, with an extracted core of wild berry, earthy currant, boysenberry, blackberry and mineral flavors. Dense and firmly structured offering depth and persistence on a mocha tinted finish." The Wine Buyer, 94 Points
