The Dry Creek Valley is an undiscovered gem, producing some of the finest Cabernet Sauvignon in California. Primarily known for Zinfandel, this hidden gem is tucked neatly into Sonoma County, creating a lush yet elegant full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon. Sourced from a premium vineyard we cannot name (their version sells for $60+) the Block 147 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon exudes elegance and complexity. On the nose, it welcomes you with intense aromas of ripe blackberries, cassis, and hints of dark chocolate. The palate reveals a symphony of flavors, with lush black fruit, subtle notes of cedar and tobacco, and well-balanced oak integration. Its velvety tannins and a long, lingering finish make this wine a true masterpiece, showcasing the terroir of this renowned wine region.
"Dense aromas of dark berries, dark chocolate with a hint of cedar & spice start off this stellar Cabernet Sauvignon from Dry Creek Valley. Bold with some finesse, the palate continues in much the same vein adding some cassis and dried berry upfront with a touch on vanilla on the finish. There is grip and balance with fleshy tannins & flavors that linger on and on." The Wine Buyer, 94 Points
